BOZEMAN – The past two weeks have not treated the Montana State Bobcats volleyball team kindly. The Bobcats continued their skid Thursday, losing to Portland State 3-0.

The Cats are now on a six-game losing streak and are still searching for their first Big Sky Conference win.

In the beginning of September, MSU rattled off three wins to capture the title at the Utah State Tournament. But after dropping the past six games, Montana State sits at 4-8 (0-3 Big Sky) on the season.

They have a chance to rebound as they face their biggest rival of the season next. Montana State faces Montana at home Saturday at 7 p.m. The Griz are having perhaps an even rockier year. They are on an eight-game losing streak and are 5-11 this year (0-3 Big Sky).
