DICKINSON, N.D. – The Billings Senior Broncs are bringing another volleyball trophy home.

Senior overcame a Game 1 loss to Bismarck Century, winning Games 2 and 3 in the championship match of the Dickinson Volleyball Invitational to claim the title Saturday afternoon.

Century won Game 1 25-22, but Senior rallied to win Games 2 and 3 by identical 25-19 scores.

Senior beat Our Redeemers 25-13, 25-13 in the first round of bracket play Saturday morning. The Broncs then beat Bismarck Legacy in the quarterfinals, 25-20 and 25-20, before meeting a familiar opponent in the semifinals. Senior edged Billings Central 25-19 and 27-25 to advance to the title match.

Central showed why it’s one of the Class A favorites in Montana. After losing to Senior, the Rams beat Billings West 25-13 and 25-10 in the third-place match. Central recorded 20 kills in the match, led by Bailey Kufeld’s seven.
