GREAT FALLS – The Great Falls Central Mustangs defeated the Choteau Bulldogs 38-12 on Saturday.

The day started as an awesome quarterback matchup between GFCC’s Noah Ambuehl and Choteau’s John Moore. The two quarterbacks had stellar first halves, as Moore ran for two touchdowns and Ambuehl threw for a touchdown and ran for one.

It was 16-12 at halftime, but the Mustangs’ Matt Mendenhall brought the opening kickoff of the second half back for a touchdown and it was all Central from there. Choteau (3-1) was held scoreless in the second half, resulting in the Bulldogs’ first loss of the year.
