GREAT FALLS – The Great Falls Voyagers are one game away from winning the Pioneer League North Division Championship series against the Missoula Osprey. The team is riding high after a 7-4 victory over Missoula on Sunday, September 10th in Great Falls. But game two, and if need be, game three will now be played in Missoula. A tough ballpark to play in for any opponent, especially against an Osprey team that can put points up in bunches at any time.

“They’re a very good team. We’ve played some high scoring affairs that look like football games with them ourselves,” said third baseman Anthony Villa. “They swing the bats, they can throw it. We have to hit some run runs, get the bats going right away. That’s how you have to beat these guys.”

“It’s a very offensive park. (Missoula is) a very offensive team, a very good team,” said Voyagers head coach Tim Esmay. “The nice thing is that we won the last game out there, a game we had to win. It’s inevitable, the stadium is a fast track, the ball flies there.”

Game two will be played at Ogren Park at Allegiance Field in Missoula at 7:05 p.m. on Monday, September 11th.
