GREAT FALLS – There now is a tie for first in the Pioneer League North division. The Missoula Osprey closed the one-game gap with Great Falls, beating the Voyagers 9-2 on Sept. 3 at Centene Stadium.
The Osprey knocked in seven runs right out of the gate in the top of the first inning and didn’t look back. The two teams are now tied with 16-16 records for the second half of the season.
The Voyagers will next play Billings at home on Sept. 4 at 7 p.m. Missoula will also play on Monday the 4th and the team will be on the road at Helena with the game starting at 4:05 p.m.
