PULLMAN, Wash. – Former Billings Senior volleyball standout Taylor Mims earned all-tournament team honors Friday night in the Cougar Challenge Tournament after leading Washington State to a 2-1 record over the weekend. The Cougars topped Quinnipiac and the College of Charleston in straight sets on Friday, but dropped a five-set decision against Baylor Thursday evening.

Mims recorded 35 kills in the three matches, including a team-high 16 in the loss against Baylor. The outside hitter tallied nine kills against Quinnipiac and 11 more against the College of Charleston. The former all-state athlete from Billings also notched 14 digs and two blocks over the weekend.
