BILLINGS – Satchel McElroy started the Billings Mustangs off with a bang, and they never looked back Friday night.

McElroy led off the bottom of the first inning with a solo home run to give the Mustangs an early lead, and Alejo Lopez added a a three-run shot later in the inning as the home team rolled the Missoula Osprey 9-2 in their first game back at Dehler Park since Aug. 9.

Hendrik Clementina added a solo home run in the third inning to give the Ponies a 5-0 lead, which was more than enough for starter Packy Naughton. The ninth-round pick in June’s MLB Amateur Draft picked up his second career win by throwing five shutout innings, allowing only three hits and striking out four.
