HELENA – Friday marked the first official day of fall practice for the Carroll College football team and at least for the first few days of practice getting everyone on the same page is the priority.

“First day is coming out here getting guys settled in,” said head coach Mike Van Diest. “Getting used to some of the terminology and for everybody getting used to their new teammates. For us we want to be able to come out and do two (Friday), two on Saturday and one on Sunday and be able to start formulating a depth chart of our top 40 to 50 players and see where we have to make any position changes or not.”

The Saints open their season against Frontir Conference rival Montana Tech in Butte on August 31st.
