BILLINGS – The 2016-17 Women’s Golf Coaches Association All-American Scholars were announced Wednesday, July 5, and three Rocky Mountain College golfers were included on the list of 952 women’s collegiate golfers who received this prestigious honor.

The three Battlin’ Bears golfers, who are all freshmen, include: Emily Aga, Brainerd, Minn.; Hayden Flohr, Billings, Mont. and Morgan O’Neil, Laurel, Mont.

To be considered for this award, each All-American must earn a minimum 3.5 cumulative GPA.

The WGCA, founded in 1983, is a non-profit organization representing women’s collegiate golf coaches. The WGCA was formed to encourage the playing of college golf for women in correlation with a general objective of education and in accordance with the highest tradition of intercollegiate competition. Today, the WGCA represents over 600 coaches throughout the United States and is dedicated to educating, promoting and recognizing both its members and the student-athletes they represent.
