MISSOULA – Young golfers took their best shots at Canyon River Golf Course on Thursday. Approximately 120 kids from across the Northwest competed in the PGA’s Drive, Chip, and Putt competition.

The course in East Missoula hosted the event for a fourth consecutive year. Youth golfers came all the way from Alberta and California to contend against 91 Montanans. The top three in each of the four age groups advance to the Subregional Qualifier in Hillsboro, Oregon on August 14. The national finals take place at the Master’s next April.
