BOISE – As the summer heats up, junior golfers hope their golf games do too as they prepare for the 2017 Rocky Mountain PGA Section Junior PGA Championship. The Championship will take place at Bridger Creek Golf Course in Bozeman, Mont. On June 28-29. The entry deadline is Wednesday, June 21st.

The Boys’ and Girls’ Champions will have the opportunity to join the nation’s top junior golfers in the PGA of America’s premium junior event, the 42nd Junior PGA Championship, hosted at The Country Club of St. Albans in St. Albans, Missouri. The Country Club of St. Albans has consistently been ranked in the Top 10 courses in the state of Missouri by Golf Digest and looks to be a fantastic venue for the event later this year.
Juniors must be no older than 18 years of age on August 3, 2017.

The Junior PGA Championship is where some of the best in the world get their start. Many of today’s PGA Tour professionals made their debut at the Championship. Notable past participants Include: Tiger Woods, Justin Thomas, Jordan Spieth, Stewart Cink and Phil Mickelson.
