BOZEMAN – It has been quite a two-month ride for Bozeman wrestler Bjorn Schroeder.
Back on April 12, he signed his scholarship papers to wrestle for Boise State. Two days later, Boise State cancelled its wrestling program.
On Wednesday afternoon, Schroeder was back signing again, only this time with Big 10 powerhouse Purdue. The two-time state champion, who finished high school with 140 wins, couldn’t be happier.
“The Big 10 school is a lot more exciting than the Pac-12 at Boise State or the Mountain West,” said Schroeder. “Everything there is awesome, and all the guys and the coaching staff is going to be great.”
