GREAT FALLS – Brittanee Fisher batted in three runs on two hits, including a home run, to lead Billings Senior to a 5-4 upset of Helena Capital, the top seed out of the West.

The Broncs got on the board first in the top of the first inning when Fisher doubled in Sydney Norwood. Capital responded in the bottom half of the inning with Taylor Matthews scoring on a sac fly.

Senior built a 3-1 lead with runs in the second and third inning before Jayley Priddy hit a two run home run in the fourth to tie the game.

Fisher’s two run blast in the top of the fifth inning would put Senior up 5-3 and give them the lead for good. Taylor Matthews would single in Shelby Van Hemlyryck in the bottom half to trim the lead to one, but the Bruins would go down in order in the bottom of the seventh to end the game.
