GREAT FALLS – 8C and 10C schools met in Friday’s preview track meet held at Memorial Stadium.

For the girls 100-meter hurdles, Sara Anderson from Belt won with a time of 17.42. Anderson picked up another win in the 300-meter hurdles while tallying a fourth-place finish in the 100, third place in the 200 and just missed the podium in the long jump. For the boys 110-meter high hurdles, Fairfield’s Dawson Allen won with a time of 16.17.

For the 100-meter dash, Payge Durocher from Choteau takes this one, barely edging out her sister Peyton, with a time of 13.51. Allen from Fairfield would win again for the boys, with a time of 11.62.

For the 4×100-meter relay, the Fairfield team won this event, led by anchor Allix Goldhahn with a time of 54 seconds. Denton-Geyser-Stanford’s team would win for the boys, led by anchor Rhet Woodhall with a time of 47.33.

For the 400 meter dash, Kristen Vincent from Hobson would win with a time of 1:02.81 For the boys, it’d be Colton Wheeler from Valier with a time of 53.29. Wheeler also won the 200-meter run and finished third in the 100.
