HELENA – Payton and Carter Pappas combined for a two-hit shutout on Tuesday night as the Helena Senators stormed past the Great Falls Chargers 10-0 at Kindrick Legion Field. The game was called due to the 10-run rule in the seventh inning.

Payton Pappas threw four innings and had two strikeouts, while Carter took the mound in the other three innings and had two strikeouts of his own. The brothers allowed only two hits and never really threatened to give up a run.

Ray Moore went 2-3 from the plate and collected four RBI while Kienan Stief’s 3-4 appearance was good for three more runs. Helena tallied eight hits in the game and led 8-0 after the second inning.

Great Falls was charged with seven errors in the contest, including four in the first two innings when Helena took charge. Moore and Stief each had doubles in the game, with Stief also adding a triple to his stat sheet.
