TEMPE, Ariz. – University of Great Falls golfer Gina Kowalchuck became the first individual Frontier Conference Tournament champion in school history Wednesday, beating the field by 18 strokes. Kowalchuck finished the 54-hole tournament five over par, which would’ve placed her third on the men’s leaderboard.

As individual champion, Kowalchuck qualifies for next month’s NAIA National Tournament in Pooler, Georgia.

Lewis-Clark State won the women’s team title by 32 strokes over runner-up Rocky Mountain College.

L-C State also won the men’s team title, beating Montana Tech by 31 on Arizona State’s home course in Tempe, Arizona.
