BELGRADE – Twin Bridges rallied from a three-point halftime deficit to earn a 42-31 victory over Broadview-Lavina in the opening game of the Class C girls state basketball tournament.

Cassandra Williams had a game-high 13 points, while fellow Lady Falcons Mara Johnson and Kailee Oliverson chipped in with 10 each. Twin Bridges outscored Broadview-Lavina 27-13 in the second half.

The Lady Pirates were led by Emily McKeever’s nine points. Krista School and Kylie School had eight each.

Twin Bridges will face the winner of Belt versus Froid-Medicine Lake in Friday’s 6:30 p.m. semifinal. Broadview-Lavina will take on the loser of that game at 12:30 p.m.
