BOZEMAN – Montana State’s women were trailing Montana by ten in the first quarter on Saturday, and then, Junior, Delaney Junkermier, started sacrificing her body.

The Spokane native tied her career high with 19 points. Most of them came with drives into the paint that found Junkermier sprawled out on the floor after being fouled.

“Very exciting,” exclaimed Junkermier. “That’s one of the main aspects I’ve been working on my game is driving to the hoop and actually being able to finish. So I was
really happy, I mean there were times I’d be laying on the ground asking, “”did that go in?”” I was really excited and it all happened because of the transition. We got the ball up to me and that was really helpful.”
