GREAT FALLS — Tyler Chandler led MSU-Northern with 15 points and the Lights men beat UGF 59-53 Thursday night in Great Falls.

The two teams had split the season series before this game, so Northern won the rubber match in the perennially competitive rivalry.

Sergio Berkley scored 14 points for the Argos, who actually shot a better percentage from the field than the Lights. But the difference was three point shooting, Northern converted 9-of-26 attempts while UGF only managed a 1-of-11 mark from deep.

Northern keeps pace in the competition Frontier Conference, improving to 20-7 overall with a 9-6 mark in league games. UGF falls to 11-15 (3-12).
