HELENA  Carroll College will be hosting Montana State-Northern on Saturday and here is what the Frontier Conference looks like as of Thursday.

Lewis-Clark State is five games ahead of anyone in the conference. Rocky Mountain College and the University of Great Falls are probably not going to shake anything up, because both teams would need at least three wins to move.

So Montana Western, MSU-Northern, Carroll and Montana Tech are the games to watch in these last two weeks of conference play. It’s a race for second.

Northern is coming off of a two-game losing streak and a four-spot bump down in that coaches poll. Carroll will try to use that momentum to its advantage despite losing to Northern twice already this season.
