BOZEMAN – Montana State Bobcat fans at Brick Breeden Fieldhouse were treated to some free basketball for the third consecutive game Thursday night, and for the third straight time they were not disappointed. The men’s team took on Portland State for the second time this season and would go into overtime before MSU could gut out a 92-90 win.
Tyler Hall led the team in scoring with 24 points, two of which won the game in OT. Harald Frey put up 18 points and Devonte Klines came in just behind him with 17 points.
The Montana State women, on the other hand, fell to Portland State on the road 69-65.
Peyton Ferris and Hannah Caudill both finished with 15 points and Riley Nordgaard came in just behind with 12 points.
Both teams will be back in action this week, with the men hosting Sacramento State in Bozeman and the women on the road at Sacramento State.
