FORT BENTON — Sophomore Lilly Gopher scored 13 points and the Box Elder girls (13-1, 11-0) beat Fort Benton (12-3, 8-3) 46-36 to clinch a regular season district 10C title.

The Lady Bears built a 40-22 lead after three quarters and weathered a comeback attempt from a talented Fort Benton girls squad in the final frame.

The Lady Longhorns outscored Box Elder 14-4 in the fourth, but only managed to trim the deficit to eight points. Senior forward Coya Nack led Fort Benton with 18 points.

In the boys game four Bears finished in double figures as Box Elder beat Fort Benton 70-29
