BOZEMAN – Montana State senior Riley Nordgaard put up a career-high 26 points Thursday against Sacramento State and followed that up with a 25-point outing against Portland State on Saturday, with another career best of six 3-pointers. She’s at the top of her game right now and the team is benefiting.

“I think she’s just got an aggressive mentality right now,” said head coach Tricia Binford. “She’s willing to do whatever we need her to do. Against Sac State she and Peyton (Ferris), we put them into press-break. We actually had our point guard work inbound. Inbound it to some size. I thought they did a tremendous job there, but also gave Riley an opportunity to make some decisions in the open court, which I think plays to her strengths.”
