COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Former Missoula Sentinel star and current Wyoming Cowgirl Liv Roberts was selected the Mountain West Women’s Basketball Player of the Week on Monday.
It’s the fourth time this season Roberts has won the award, making her the first Cowgirl to win the award four times in a single season since Hillary Carlson did it during the 2010-11 season.
Roberts, a 5-foot-11 junior, helped Wyoming to wins over San Jose State and New Mexico last week, averaging a double-double of 16.5 points and 14 rebounds per game. She also added six assists and four steals in the two games.
She scored 19 points on 6-of-15 shooting and grabbed 13 rebounds against the Spartans. She was also 6-of-6 from the free throw line. Roberts then notched her sixth double-double of the season the next game with 14 points and a career-high 15 rebounds.

She also leads the team in scoring and rebounding at 15.9 points and 8.1 rebounds per game. She’s second in steals and third in assists.
