BOZEMAN – The holiday season is all about caring and lending a helping hand to those who need it, and a member of the Bobcat family could use one right now.

Former Montana State basketball player Martrel Johnson is fighting for his life with kidney, blood and heart issues — the same medical condition that cut his playing career short in 2005.

Johnson still lives in Bozeman and is working with family to fund-raise money to help with treatment costs and search for a potential kidney match.
