Bozeman – Former quarterback DeNarius McGhee, number nine here, will be coaching MSU’s quarterbacks this upcoming season. McGhee lead the cats from 2010-2013 to three Big Sky Championships, knowledge he is excited to pass on to current players.

” Oh I am fired up. I couldn’t imagine of a better situation. A better place to coach and be able to develop players and help them accomplish their dreams,” McGhee told us. “Coach Choate and I have been in contact ever since he took the MSU job. Over time we’ve developed a pretty good relationship. I interviewed with them a year ago. When the opportunity came, I actual came up during the summer. Talked to them and have been in contact with them throughout the season. After the season we talked some, talked some quarterback play and all of that. He decided to give me an opportunity, a great opportunity to coach these guys. And I can’t tell you how fired up I am to have the opportunity, but it’s going to be a lot of work, time to put in to help these guys be the best.”

McGhee is currently a grad assistant at North Carolina State.
