WALESKA, GA – Montana Tech’s season came to and end Saturday afternoon at the hands of Reinhardt University 27-0.

Without quarterback Quinn McQueary or Frontier Conference Player of the Year Nolan Saraceni the Diggers were only able to put up 231 yards of offense and gave up the ball five times.

The defense did an admirably job against top rushing and scoring offense in the nation. Allowing only 191 yards on the ground for the Eagles. But in the end the thrid ranked team in the country was too much and gave Montana Tech their second loss of the long season.

” Obviously we were in some tough situations with personnel today. But again, Reinhardts a good team. And we were excited to hold them to just one offensive score for three quarters,” said Tech head coach Chuck Morrell. “It thought we were playing exceptional. Obviously we weren’t able to get enough points to get in the end zone. I think the defense played incredible. They fought their butts off.”
