GREAT FALLS — Senior captain Madison Wilhelm posted her 14th double double of the season, and led the Lady Argos to a hard-fought 3-1 victory over MSU-Northern. Wilhelm had 23 kills and 17 digs in the 32-30, 24-26, 25-20, 25-22 win.

Both of the Lady Argos’ middle blockers had strong games which helped UGF secure the win. Junior Josee Pendleton had 13 kills and 16.5 points, and senior Tiffany Marks added 11 kills, 9 block assists, and 16.5 points.

Senior setter Bree Davis did a little of everything, posting a double double with 56 assists and 11 digs, and adding 4 block assists, 3 aces, and 2 kills.

The victory puts the No. 4 seed UGF above .500 on the season, and into the semifinals, with the opponent to be determined. The lowest remaining seed will take on No. 1 Carroll at 11 a.m. on Saturday. The Lady Argos will look to improve on last year’s post-season performance, where they lost in the semis.
