WHITEFISH – The Frontier Conference volleyball tournament is scheduled for Friday and Saturday in Great Falls.

Carroll College (9-3 conference, 21-6 overall) won the regular-season championship to earn the No. 1 seed for the tournament. The Saints will have a first-round bye.

Matches begin Friday at 2 p.m. with the University of Great Falls (6-6, 13-13) against Montana State-Northern (5-7, 6-15) in the matchup between Nos. 4 and 5 sides.

No. 2 Montana Tech (8-4, 20-8) is next at 7 p.m. against No. 7 Lewis-Clark State (3-9, 8-14).

The nightcap, at 7 p.m., pits No. 3 Rocky Mountain College (7-5, 13-16) against No. 6 Montana Western (4-8, 11-15).

Carroll will play the lowest remaining seed in one semifinal match on Saturday at 11 a.m. The other two winners will meet in the other semifinal at 1 p.m.

The championship match is set for 7 p.m. on Saturday. The champion receives an automatic bid to the 2016 NAIA national tournament, which begins Nov. 19.
