GREAT FALLS — We’re nearly two months removed from the Fourth of July, but Great Falls Voyagers skipper Tommy Thompson provided plenty of fireworks Monday night at Centene Stadium. During the sixth inning of Great Falls’ 5-3 win over Billings, Thompson disagreed with a called out at second base. And he let the umpire Aaron Schorch know about it. Not only did words fly, but hats and lineup sheets too. Watch:

The outburst led to an ejection, but even without their manager in the dugout the Voyagers held on for their eighth straight win. Great Falls (19-9 in the second half) will look for nine wins in a row Tuesday night in Game 2 of a three-game set with Billings (15-13).
