GREAT FALLS – The hope for UGF Lady Argo volleyball in 2016 is that iron sharpens iron, with 10 of the program’s 14 non-conference opponents ranked or receiving votes in the 2016 Tachikara-NAIA Volleyball Coaches’ Preseason Top 25 Poll.

There will be no cupcakes early in the season for UGF, with the first game of the year coming against #6 Midland University on August 18 at 10 a.m. MT followed by #16 Westmont University at 6 p.m. that same day.

UGF returns a core group of skill-position players from a 2015 squad that finished fourth in the tightly contested Frontier Conference rankings with a 26-10 (7-5) record. The team’s 2015 leaders in kills ( Madison Wilhelm), blocks (Tiffany Marks), digs (Kennedy Chadwick), and assists (Dani Norling) all return.
